Marixia supplies research materials from university spin-outs and specialist manufacturers to universities, research institutes and companies. Each material is listed at a published price with the manufacturer's characterisation data, and you can pay by card or by invoice with a purchase order.
Our suppliers
Our first supplier is Grove Nanomaterials, a Swansea University spin-out with laboratories in Cardiff. Grove makes gold colloids by physical deposition of metallic gold, and Marixia supplies its four colloids worldwide. See Grove Nanomaterials.

Who we are
- Jack Mitchinson, founder and managing director, answers technical and ordering questions. He has a PhD in electrochemistry from Newcastle University and has worked in scientific product management and technical sales.
- David Sheath, commercial director, leads route-to-market work with suppliers. He has 25 years' experience in technical sales and scientific distribution across the UK and Europe.
- Enya-Marie Clay, quality and professional development director, leads communications and quality assurance.
